Our process started with analyzing the sounds from the different cities and developing the process to turn these sounds into buildable geometry.

We ended up using touchdesigner as our main environment to program the full process from file management to generating the geometries as well as 2D-visualizations to be shown on the exhibition.

In the end we followed the concept to letting the main shape evolve along the rails of a combined soundscape while single sounds would be randomly added to its surface.

The final shapes of the physical sculptures are freezed moments of virtual lifeforms fed with the characteristic sounds of vibrant Ukrainian cities in 2021.
